British Library Conservation Centre
The Metsec Steel Framed System was specified at the British Library Conservation Centre, London, mainly for the ability to create an extremely airtight environment for the archives. This was achieved by using galvanised sheeting, a waterproof membrane and mastic joints.
In this scenario, attention to detail is key, and I-W has an excellent track record in this respect. Working to a well-established quality procedure backed up by experienced on-site management ensured the work was completed to the high standards expected by the client.
