Steel framed systems

Metsec.

Steel framed systems (SFS) are versatile systems that use cold roll formed galvanised steel sections, assembled on-site to form a stud structure. They can be used for internal walls or as a backing for a variety of external cladding, including brickwork.

These systems are an economical way to provide early weather protection to a building, as the frames are easy and quick to put together. The dry construction enables windows and internal fit-out to begin without delay. A variety of materials can be fixed to the steel framework to create different thermal and acoustic profiles.

Steel framed systems are a good example of where I-W is able to add real value to a project by combining different styles of wall construction into a single package.
