Training courses have been an integral part of
the company's routine safety practices for many years. With EEC directives and
COSHH regulations in mind, they are run at two levels:
- general safety awareness for all on site
employees
- specific courses geared either to practical
skills or operation of machinery
The value of I-W's
training is evident not only in its exemplary safety record, shown below, but
in the winning of a number of safety awards over
the years. Such awards are evidence of the company's positive approach to safety
and training, management commitment, workers' awareness, supervisory control,
safe methods and use of personal protective equipment.
